I came across this the other day (Oil Spill Link) . I am glad to see at least some churches and denominations are responding to the Oil Spill. I am especially proud to see that my denomination (PCUSA) is offering a response through the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance program.
It occurred to me today that we have not talked about this in my local church or in the youth ministry I lead. I know our students are discussing the environmental disaster in school. As Christians and fellow creatures in the creation we really need to show that we CARE for God’s creation.
